After years of owning a (eventually broken) Genesis that I've had since I was 3, I finally decided to open up the whole console and clean ever part of it.Now I get to stay up all night and play Rocket Knight :D

The new RK isn't a remake, it's a "re-imagining" - like the new Rambo/Rocky movies, new Bionic Commando, etc., it's a sequel that works heavily off of nostalgia.

I remember wanting to buy this. However, I already had Alex kidd, and this game seem incoherent, same reason why I didn't buy it back then.

This review had a lot of strange comments. Rocket Knight is more like an arcade game and absolutely nothing like Yoshi's Island.

Screw the remake. Screw the sequels! The original is where it's at.

@mangaas I wish the Genesis sequel had never existed.
