Classic Game Room HD reviews ROCKET KNIGHT ADVENTURES for Sega Genesis from Konami (Sega Mega Drive). 2D side scrolling platformer goodness for fans of the genre, Rocket Knight Adventures has you playing as an opossum with a jetpack who fights pigs in mecha armor. Charge up your jetpack to jump and attack, swing your sword like thing and jump with precision, Rocket Knight Adventures mixes it up with creative level design and clever end bosses. This CGR review of Rocket Knight Adventures has gameplay from Rocket Knight Adventures showing game play on the Sega Genesis 16-bit game console. Konami is remaking it too so hang on to your jet pack for more adventure! From 1993 for your Megadrive, Rocket Knight Adventures!

After years of owning a (eventually broken) Genesis that I've had since I was 3, I finally decided to open up the whole console and clean ever part of it.Now I get to stay up all night and play Rocket Knight :D

The new RK isn't a remake, it's a "re-imagining" - like the new Rambo/Rocky movies, new Bionic Commando, etc., it's a sequel that works heavily off of nostalgia.

I remember wanting to buy this. However, I already had Alex kidd, and this game seem incoherent, same reason why I didn't buy it back then.

This review had a lot of strange comments. Rocket Knight is more like an arcade game and absolutely nothing like Yoshi's Island.

Screw the remake. Screw the sequels! The original is where it's at.

@mangaas I wish the Genesis sequel had never existed.
