A wee minor criticism of the Who, if I may...They had the best rhythm section you could hope for, some brilliant songs (some of which will be classics forever), and Pete Townsend.Townsend was a great composer (eclectic taste, good sense of humour, awareness that he was chronicling his time) and an awesome guitarist who'll influence another generation or two.But I always get the impression from live Who that he's not really trying, just posing and playing the guitar hero.
