Peter Cetera, leading on this song, is alive. There was another lead singer, Terry Kath, who accidentally killed himself in 1978 - very tragic. Sometimes the two sung lead together, such as in "Dialogue (pt. 1 and 2)"

The lead singer seen here is Peter Cetera who is very much alive. The band had another lead singer, Terry Kath - he shot himself accidentally in 1978, very tragic. Both Cetera and Kath did lead singing, featured together occasionally such as in their excellent song "Dialogue".
