@LongLiveOx Yes, definately one of the greatest. I had heard that he didin't make any money for his songs.

All time saddest song. But so beautifull.

Great song; Jim Croce was one of the greatest American artists.

The late 60s and early 70s produced some of the best music ever made, and also the most untimely deaths. A weird time.

@ahmaddinejungilvez Well er finally agree on something, hip hop is rubbish.

"I can't read the the number you just gave me, there's something in my eyes, you know it happens every time, i thiink about the love that i thought would save me." great lyrics.

@wovokanarchy Now I agree to each his own but now we have the torture of hip hop and country will always torture my airwaves but then I don't have to listen.
wovokanarchy (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@ahmaddinejungilvez To each his own. I'm just glad singers such as Croce, Chapin and Cat Stevens no longer exist to torture the airwaves except of course A.M.

@wovokanarchy like I said some day you will grow up
wovokanarchy (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@ahmaddinejungilvez Yeah the idealism of the 60s and 70s quickly turned to avarice and greed. Had your generation followed through on such noble objectives the environment and politics of the day wouldn't be so fucked up. Talk about ''growing up". Your generation went from ''idealism'' to ''infantilism'' The two best minds your generation had to offer America was Clinton and Bush. One a pervert and the other a moron. |
