I hope you are just really naive, because you are thinking of "Jim Crow" Laws...a term given to discriminating laws in the south against black people...like separate drinking fountains and restrooms, etc. Nothing to do with Jim Croce.

I loved the early 70s, too. Jim Croce's death was so tragic and he is still missed. What a beautiful song. I listen to it a lot.

I loved the early 70's. Can't believe it was so very long ago now. This song broke my heart then and it does the same thing today. Jim was one-of-a-kind. RIP Jim Croce, we still love your music.
